BASP (British Association of Ski Patrollers) have been providing quality training in Outdoor First Aid for more than 25 years & are well known by outdoor enthusiasts who require knowledge of first aid in an outdoor & remote environment.

The 2 day Outdoor Emergency First Aid Course is recognised by BASI & other national governing bodies. The certificate is valid for 3 years.

BASP Trainers are highly experienced professionals delivering First Aid Courses to ensure safe, confident responders. They are able to draw on their 'hands on' experience and skills in dealing with first aid situations in the outdoors - this is shared in the practical aspects of the course, on snow or outside. Many are qualified BASI Instructors, involved in Ski Patrol or Mountain Rescue.

In 2013 BASP have been recognised as an SQA approved centre - this demonstrates ready-made assurance of a training provider's competence to deliver appropriate training alongside a high level of quality assurance.
