Well, you’ve come to the right place! Learning to snowboard is a very rewarding and exciting experience to be remembered. You only do it the once!
On average a beginner attends 3 × 2 hour Group Lessons in order to learn how to snowboard i.e. to reach the Recreational Standard. Adult beginners can learn even quicker by attending 2 × 3 hour Fast Track lessons, or for the ultimate learning experience why not try the Learn To Snowboard In A Day Course.
Adult snowboard lessons are available for persons 16 years and over and Junior snowboard lessons for children aged 10-15 years, see below.
Please note that due to the physical nature of snowboarding the minimum age for lessons is 10 years old.
For safety reasons members of the public are not allowed to teach.

There are 3 group lessons to complete in order to reach the Recreational Standard. A single group lesson lasts 2 hours. Alternatively adults could opt to speed up their learning with the Fast Track lessons, see below.

Benefit from a quicker learning experience over fewer visits. Perfect if you don’t have much time before you head out abroad. There are 2 Fast Track lessons to complete in order to reach the Recreational Standard.

55 mins – beginner, intermediate or advanced
Private lessons are available for the more personal touch for beginners to experts. Beginners will benefit from a more intense coaching experience and recreational standard snowboarders can progress any element of their skills i.e. carving, style etc.
Available for 1 person up to a maximum of 4 people per instructor.

All lessons must be pre-booked and pre-paid and remain non refundable and non-transferable. Depending upon personal ability a lesson may have to be repeated before progressing to the next level. On arrival, check-in at SnowDome reception, then head downstairs to Ski Hire to get changed, obtain all equipment and go to your designated meeting point to wait for your instructor. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your lesson, as late arrivals cannot always be accommodated.
