Usual ramp night prices apply.

SNOLF kicked off in the first half with just a fun jam session with throw out spot prizes of T’s, keyrings and sticker packs from competition sponsors d3o & Zimtstern. The Noble – Custom tent at the bottom of the slope housed the judges (in traditional Golfing attire) and the Snolf Scoreboard. The score board showed a current trick which was changed every 10 minutes for riders to try. The nights MC Wayne Taylor (AKA Snowskate shop, Halifax) kept Snolfers informed and gave explanation of the tricks called along with the graphic demo’s by CHUCKBUDDiES.

By the end of the first half the judges had compiled a list of the top 15 riders to qualify for the SNOLF final. Some great riding was getting thrown down by many of the locals such as Ross Needham, John Weatherley, Paul Coley, Sean Miller & Chris Keightley. So the top 15 were announced and during the break Mike Austin frantically ran round taking suggestions from the riders for the final snolf tricks.

Before the Final the riders met for a brief meeting under the Noble-Custom tent. Then the first trick was announced and the competition commenced. Riders were scored on execution of the trick correctly and most importantly a clean landing. Experience riders Dan Deacon, Mike Austin & Joel Erith took serious and strict judging to the execution of tricks. So any trick landed off 90 degree and scraped round would be a fail and also connecting too early on a 270 would be a 180 and therefore fail to score.

The competition pace was fast and the Live Scoreboard was tough to keep updated, Endeavor team manager Sam Noble took charge of this and riders were placed in order of score. Three standout riders stayed on PAR through the entire trick list. Matt Higson, Jonny Russel & Si Foster dominated the competition and amazed the judges by landing every trick clean – every time first go! The scores were very close between the top 6 riders and so they all went through for the SNOLF putt challenge and 18th trick.

With a final chance to gain an extra point by sinking a hole-in-one on the 18th were riders Matt Higson, Jonny Russel, Si Foster, Tom Honey, Matt Macwhirter & Andy Nudds. The only Snolfer to sink the ball was Matt Macwhirter knocking him up one place on the Leaderboard. The final SNOLF scores, ranking order and trick list are as shown below.

Snolf would like to say a massive thanks to everyone who helped out. Sam Noble, Dan Deacon, Joel Erith, James Bryant, Matt Higson, Chris Keightley, Wayne Taylor& Dee.
