Things to do this October half term
The darker nights are drawing in but that doesn’t mean the fun needs to stop.
October half term is the perfect time for the family to grab the coats and woolly hats and get out to make some unforgettable memories. Although the infamous British weather can sometimes scupper plans, perfect conditions and loads of fun are guaranteed with us, all under one roof!
First off on anyone’s October half term checklist is some pumpkin carving! Check out our SnowDome themed pumpkin stencils and send us your pics.
Once your pumpkins are placed proudly in the window, the whole family can embrace the season. We think there’s no better way to do that than by getting your skates on, ice skating is available every day throughout October half term. Everyone can enjoy the ice rink and UK’s only ice track, with skating aids available to suit all ages and abilities.
Then, you can really get into the wintry feel with some snow fun. Escape the drizzly wet weather with snow fun park. The treehouse make our snow fun park the perfect snowy adventure for young children and families.
We know what you’re thinking by now! It’s time to warm up by heading into Starbucks and trying out their yummy fall range. Yes, the famous pumpkin-spiced latte is making a return. If a full meal is more to your liking there’s the Aspen Food Company, with sumptuous burgers and pizzas galore. We may be biased, but the views of our snow slope whilst you eat are hard to top!
The fun doesn’t have to stop there, take off the coats and gloves for a while and take on 15 exciting climbing walls! SnowDome Climb is a great family activity for all ages and abilities. Race the kids up the speed walls (or have them race each other), conquer the twister tower and solve the Tetris wall!
